It looks like he makes them once somebody has paid, This is in all his auctions that I looked at:
The helm in this auction is not the one shown in the picture, but will be identical to it in every possible way.
Construction of the helm will commence as soon as we have the money in hand, with a *MINIMUM* 4 week turnaround time.

I think if I wanted a life size custom made Red Laser helmet then thats what id expect to pay... Its expensive compared to a kids cyberman or clone trooper helmet but they are knocked out in their thousands...

It is the most expensive that he has but I am not too sure about the price , It seems a lot of money just to wear once or twice at party's but then again I am still after stormtrooper armour (Need another job after wednesday so that's on the back burner!)
There is unlimited arguments for that price I.E. time, material etc and lots against but it all depends on if you are willing to pay it or see if he will come down a little (There is a credit crunch).

Yeha the problem is what to wear with it at a party ect if you got bright red PVC how mad would that look lol you would look like a crazy sex gimp
