25th Anniversary of the Greatest Xmas Ever - Possibly

December 1983.
So, da ich war, BAF had collided with reality, alles gut, alles schön, und so weiter. Will post perhaps next year re: 25th Oct BAF emergence (of which, more another time, especially about the verisimilitude of the minicomics. And their prior price on Emupp). But all said and done, the 25th was going to be a great day to be sure.
Meantime, already crazy Karl Bucks had rail-roaded me into post-
"Attack" and 
Gibli reality on Bluthund start-up with Cam Kennedy initially tracing the tracer rounds to t'grim glory of all, slotting Shads already* like no tomorrow, with verily a bit of tension left over for the New Year (*and at least one of two copies of BAF that I didn't get for nearly 15 years, courtesy of the big IPC-winding-up and Ebay's non-existence).
And thus it was that Sankt Niklaus delivered the following goods this very day:
And I was so glad. Thank fugg for fantastic rentals, Morrisons and certain quality toystores. Also for the otherwise inanimate MMS. Never was the US Hawk AAM more gladly made into a Ju-88 equivalent.
My dad's then assistant also bought me
so that was a result too. Apart from the fact he's still got nowt to fly. Still working on it.
Unfortunately, all meine issues with
- and indirectly 
- can perhaps be traced back to this moment. But check back next year! Cos that was Claymore and Moondancer complementary-BAF perfection, if anything more should peremptorily be said about such things, then at least they were full-on chez moi in the North.
Am chillin in die Schweiz this Xmas post-ops, wish I'd been back in GB for a proper Guy Fawkes and Mischief Night build-up to this anniversary: but that's life. Hope to look back and laugh one day.
Have a vonderfolle Xmas, and hoffe to compare similar sentiments one of these days.
