This enemy battle gear keeps cropping up stating it contains the YPS snowtrooper gun. Can anyone shed some light asto what this is? The pack looks like a normal battle gear. He also keeps putting the price up by a couple of quid every time its listed.

Cheers Andy. That would explain why a few months ago afetr I won a loose lot of weapons a bloke emailed me and offered me £4 for that gun.

The YPS snowtrooper was given away free with the 'YPS' German kids magazine. All the mags had the free star wars figure included.

The figure has some minor molding differences from the standard figure.

The major difference is that it came with a black SA80 rifle instead of the star wars rifle.

To lots of SW collectors, they don't know that its an easily obtainable Action Force gun - I have about 10 black ones in the back of my Shadowtrack on display.

In the past, I've bought loads of enemy weapons packs. I've paid about £6 for the pack, kept all the weapons and sold the YPS gun on ebay on its own for £6. I've done this maybe 5 times in the past.

Lack of time and increased ebay fees has stopped me doing it for the last few months...

I don't think it's a variant weapons pack though, as far as I know that's the standard release.

Coool - I've got about five Enemy weapons packs unopened! Do the solo guns actually sell for as much as £5 then? If I listed all five together it would save fees and then I can tool up some other troops. Maybe even let :muton: loose with a gun?

A lot of collectors also are oblivious that the action figure stands are the same (and easily lost) figure stands that were supplied with the cardboard Death Star playset.
The majority of them sold now have no stands, without knowing how easy it is get hold of them.

They are good stands too :)

I did sell that one for 4 quid, so give it a go.
