i need assistance with some repair work, vehicle repair i have not had many issue's with but i'm having a few problems with figures, i have various figures that are quite loose around the waist and i need help on the best way to go about tightening them up. I do have a slight handicap which makes the more delicate operation more difficult though. A few years ago i had a work based accident where i lost an index finger. (i can no longer point at something without it looking odd) so any help i can get i would be most grateful for.

A new "O" ring is the best option if its only the waist thats loose ?
you can fit one slightly smaller than the original, for a super sturdy figure !!

There are always "O" rings on the bay.

iyes It's just the waist band, what size o ring would i need? And is there any useful tools when changing the o ring that i might need to make it easier, Rather than struggle with the old fingers? I'll have a look on ebay.

all you need is a small phillips screwdriver, i have a bag of "O" rings somewhere, i will send you a few if you like then you can decide which is the best size ?
prob wont get to you now until the new year tho ?
If you are desperate you can easily pick up a random assortment in any hardware shop for a couple of quid

i'm in no hurry believe me. Still got loads to fix and sort. I should be able to pop down the local hardware store to get the o rings. I'll take some bits down to get the right size. Thanks for the offer though. Figure repair is the only bit i haven't tried yet, i'm walking before i can run. wouldn't think i'm a qualified engineer would you!

The best thing to do would be to take an "O" ring out of a figure and then take it to the shop with you, I have found some of the modern "O" rings are a bit more rigid than the ones used in the figures, which can cause problems when trying to refit the arms. always best to have a selection.
just be careful .. this is a potential crotch damaging operation !
