Just had a thought
As you now I'm not a big MOC collector, but checking my MOCs revealed this:
Manufactured in UK
Wave 1 Space Pilot
Wave 1 Space Pilot (Orange boot variant)
Wave 1 Space Patroller (silver gun)
Wave 1 Space Patroller (blue gun)
Wave 1 Space Security Trooper (silver gun)
Wave 2 Space Engineer (English Card)
Wave 2 Space Force Battle Pack
Manufactured in Hong Kong
Wave 2 Space Pilot
Wave 2 Space Commander
Wave 2 Space Engineer (French Card)
Wave 2 Space Security Trooper
Manufactured in Macau
Wave 1 Baron Iron Blood (white gloves)
Perhaps the moulding/plastic variations may be related to country of production?
All the Space Pilots above have the 'low' belt even though some are old, and some are new!
I'll have a look through my loose collection as time allows, but I think I've got the two different Z Force infantryman versions.
Any other pictures, preferably with a comparison shot will be welcomed!
