A Question about MOC SW Figures

When I've been looking about on the bay I often see SW figures and sometimes AF Figures being refered to as "45 Back" or "12 Back". What does that mean?

I think its the amount of characters featured on the back, might be wrong though?

the "back" number refers to the amount of figures pictured on the back of the card.

1st series star wars were 12 backs ( they only had 12 figures on the card back)

Thanks Andy,

I vaguely remember the ROTJ card backs from when my brother had them.

He is AFA graded mind - likely added a good $50 to the asking price.

Only released in Italy and Canada apparently. I think i will never complete the Black hole wave 2 figures. That's just silly.

Try a Toltoys carded mint SW 12 back. I haven't seen one since 1977. I'd hate to think what one would go for.
