Battletank Arrived!

A big shiny package arrived on Saturday containing my boyfriend's latest purchases - including a Battletank. It's sooooooooooooooo much better than girls' toys, but is there any way to turn it on/off without taking the batteries out?

I'll see if I can get some photos up here tomorrow of the collection so far

You just have to move the top turret about... Give it a jiggle...

cool, we've got it steering with the turret but couldn't get it to stop - I'll let the other half know and he can have a fiddle with it later

The turret pushes back and forwards to go er... backwards and forwards! and "stops" in the middle as well as turning left and right...

At least i think it does, never had one when I was a kid and never tried mine with batteries...

So, how are you managing to keep this surprise present a secret from your boyfriend, AnnieM?

What has always puzzled me is that you post on here and he doesnt seem to. Unless he is a member here? Surely it should be the other way round and he would moan about not being able to buy stuff or keep it on display??

And if you're in Taunton, is your boyfriend our long-lost member Brakkart?

Sorry but to add to the questions you seem to be very proud of your sheilds / trophys... Did you win them? Or buy them while getting a key cut / shoe repaired...

I really am struggling not to turn this thread into absolute filth, but as I know my usual "ooooo-er missus" team mate is away on his jollies I'm resisting...for the time being...
