these are some of the brochures I have, can probably find some of these on yojoe, might not want some of these, a couple I thought I'd post for those that maybe haven't seen them, possibly US releases only.

Hey, some great pics there! Thanks for posting!

One thing: WTF were the Eco Warriors!?!?

And that Cobra Septic Tank!! Surely a low point in the history of the range....

great collection
gotta agree with the comments about the eco warriors, cesspool and the toxo vipers were ok but the joes were horrendous. my interest in gi joe died with this range until the 25th ann figs.
i am so jealous you have the gi joe special. i've been after this for a while (is this the issue pencilled by mcfarlane??)

Hey don`t knock the Eco Warriors!
I guess Hasbro were raising awereness of the enviroment at the time, making kids care :)

Right about now though we need a couple of Cobra Credit Crunchers and Jobcentre Joes for the current state of things.

Great job !!
Great collection !! Though now if I don't get anything accomplished this weekend I'm going to blame you as I saw "On Any Sunday" on DVD in the background of one of those pics. Now I'm tempted to dig out my old MX boots and kick over the old Honda this weekend.

thanks, I'll fire up another couple of pics.

Alot of people believe the line began to deteriorate in 1987 with the introduction of Cobra-La, or even with Sci-Fi, the first neon coloured character in 1986. Tiger-Force, Python Patrol had mixed reactions also, but I have to admit some of the figures between 1990 and 1994 have grown on me since I first saw them.

The military flavour was abandoned, as it had been done with it's 12" predecessor as a backlash to the Vietnam war at the time-leading in both cases to space adventures and the like. Eco warriors, STAR brigade and the DEF ( drug enforcement force ) were the not-so-great result this time round.

It is indeed the Spawn creator himself who did that cover as a tribute to his Marvel and Spiderman days, I waited ages to get that missing piece of the puzzle so to speak.
