since both characters are cool, i have to go w/ the human, non-cyborg guy

I was somewhat confused to read "Battle Action Force" and discover that Red Jackal became Destro. Red Jackal was a Ukrainian (?) with a bionic head, and then in the later Action Force Weekly (50 ish. run) he was pretty much the same as in G.I. Joe: a Scottish arms dealer who had "inherited" (by patricide) the family mask of Destro. His face was disfigured now (by Cobra Commander's acid?), not bionic. In the U.S. versions, his face is normal beneath the mask - and the 12' Hall of Fame action figure came with a removable mask that revealed a menacing, dark-haired figure without any disfigurement.
So, is Destro still considered to be the "former Eastern European Red Jackal" in Britian, or not? I'm just curious.

Okay, so the "Marvel Action Force" does not follow the time-line of the "Battle Action Force"?

Marvel UK Action Force ties in with Marvel US GI Joe.

More than "Marvel is pure fantasy", I prefer to think about each different version as "alternate universes".
