Blood for the Baron!

Something my memory lied to me about was a 'black red shadow' from my childhood, so I made one!

how did you do the skull logo ?

I found it much easier to carefully paint around the logo than paint a new one!
He looks really sinister and compliments the 'army' nicely!

I originally did black 'eyes' on a white stripe in the style of a Red Shadow but it looked poor, so I went for the white goggle stripe instead. The rifle is from Marauder inc. who are great to deal with, and VERY high quality.

Little bit of a Red touch up and this would be perfect heavy back up for him:

Muton you beat me to it. had planned on making 2 "Dark Shadows" to shadow the Major

Me too, I use crimson guardsmen for my customs and wanted to use some black shadow guards for a black shadow...

Exactly my idea too. i think i bought some headless Crimson Guards from you Kraken for the customs i'm working on at the mo. my ebay id is billeo40

Yeah thats right, i tried using the dtc crimson guards and wasnt too happy so went back to the original guards... Hope they are coming along well and great custom Muton too...

I just need some shadow heads to have a go at one, hadnt thought of it being a single character but I think thats the way to go...

working on a Shad at the moment but struggling with the neck joint. tried using necks off damaged figs but not happy with the results. just bought some milliput and am gonna have a go at sculpting my own
