Not really an Action Force topic I know, but does any-one have any Commando comics they don't want anymore?
I've just started collecting again and would love to get more issues.
Please let me know I can buy or I have a selection of Action Force bits and pieces i can trade.
Thanks
Matt

I have loads of them but unfortunately i am not selling them but i will be getting rid of my doubles when i do get time to sort them out, and the dirty dozen, true brit, rumble in the jungle along with the air ace battle and war books are cheapest from amazon along with charlies war but don't buy AARRGGHH!! IT'S WAR by David Roach if you are expecting to read a war magazine it is however jam packed with glossy front cover pics from all the libraries from fleetway publications but not one story. A lso battler britton was a bit expensive for what is one story and is about 1/2 cm thick with around 80 ish pages. Don't forget about the 1989 and 1990 annuals either.
P.S. They are £1.25 apiece now and will probably go up again soon so it may be an idea if you take a subscription out as dawson's news have a kardex machine and they fall down the back and sometimes never make it to the shelves as when i was on leave and moonlighting i always did a bit of work for them and the numpty's working there are just that numpty's!

I'm a bit lost, we're talking about the monthly digest mini-comics, aren't we? Wasn't there a weekly IPC comic called Commando too?

Hi,
Yes these are the monthly D.C.Thompson comics we are talking about, I think the other comic called commando was a short lived marvel u.k title from the seventies with Sgt.Fury in it if my memory serves me correctly.
I have about 500 or so of these comics plus a couple of the reprint books at the moment.
These comics are just alot of fun to read with no attempt at political correctness and have a certain nostalgia value if you grew up in the 70s/80's.
Tintinlostsnowy let me know if you ever get a chance to sort those doubles and maybe we can sort something out ,you can pm me a list of what you have whenever you want.
A guy I work with was at that market last week and said he saw the stall but did'nt really look through the comics as he was only after german militaria.
Said he would have a look next time as he is a regular on holiday there.
Shame though as if I had posted this a week earlier I would have know and could have given him some cash to get some.
