Blood for the Baron!

you have typed into ebay and got some action force guys up? I've been trying the old "lets type in something obscure and hope nobody else has thought of it" trick, no joy yet! Hoping that someone selling may not have a clue and "say what they see!"

Have tried:
Vintage soldier
soldier 3
soldier 3/4
toy soldier plastic
vintage soldier

and various other misspellings, ie rud shadow, meton, baron bloodiron etc............

That could've been me last Sunday slightly (well very) drunk and typing absolute bollox!

I often try "alternate" search routes but rarely get any results.
I often find action force weapons mixed in with vintage star wars weapons and accessories.
So I often search for "vintage star wars accessories" or "vintage star wars weapons"
Also you always seem to find a Muton in "action figures" category bulk collections.
Or in the past in desperation I have tried...

mini action men
mini action man
plastic soldiers
toy space men
army figures

etc etc etc

This trick might have worked 6 years ago, but not anymore: the majority of sellers is smart and there is a too large base of buyers. You are never the only person spotting something.

A while ago on eBay there was a large lot of action figures offered. Auction was accompanied by rather dodgy pictures. Collectors with good eyesight could spot Jammer in it. Seller really had no clue what he was selling. What people do to avoid the seller getting smart is really pathetic: "Is the black feller with the red hat unbroken?".

Too right, if I ever saw a noob with a complete minesweeper or unbroken Gaucho etc, I always PM them and say "sorry to bother you, but you've got one of the rarest figures there, and you should be charging five times that. Do you have the accessoires? I can provide links" etc. I'm sorry if that bothers anyone but I take a dim view of exploiting people.

But to stay on topic, I have found Action Force very badly listed, Kracken springs to mind, but I can't really think of any good examples at the moment. Memory's shot these days...

I must say when I first found this site you were advising that lady who had the Blades with the mint SAS logo.

I don't know how much she got for it, but I bet it was a lot more than she would have without you lot!

I know I'm among good honest collector's who love the toys for what they are. Classic!
