Action Force-Would It make a Good Computer Game?

Just Been playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 (again) I think this would be a great template for an Action Force video game The 3rd /1st person shoot them up (where you can choose to the good guys or bad guys from four different factions)Sounds ideal for an Action Force game.. perhaps a storyline which describes how The Red Shadows were overcome and the rise of Cobra, I think it would be pretty neat (Various different locations for different battles which can be found in the best Action Force Stories) Just a thought..But If Action Force was to be made into a computer game how would you like to see it on a console or P.C ? Maybe a first person shooter like Call of Duty or what about a Free roaming game like GTA or Mercenaries?, it be nice to hear your ideas on this

I loved SpellForce because you could flip between avatar and strategy modes, that would work well, although FPS really is my first choice.

Ideally gaming needs to be able to flip between all three, but it just doesn't quite manage it yet. eg Lost Planet, you can move to FPS but after every cut-scene you end up back in avatar mode, etc.

But yes, something where you get to move through the four squads would be cool, and for my money it would have to be versus Shads, not Cobra. Now what would be seriously cool would be to play as the Black Major, start off as Z Force, maybe flit between other squads, and then be turned and play the second half commanding the Shadows.

Actually, a three step system, 1 as AF, 2 as Shadows and third as rogues versus Cobra. That would seriously kick ass.

In this day and age everything is possible I think Rebellion(The Guys who own 2000ad and made Dredd vs Death and Rogue Trooper ) should be the guys to make this I think they'd do a pretty nifty job (I reckon they did a very good job on Rogue kept kinda faithful to the comic )

I loved both their 'tooth games, except for the finales, which were extremely poor. But the RT gameplay was realy smooth. They would be the ones, really.
