Action Force Field Unit Inter-Com by Jotastar
The Action Force Field Unit Inter-Com by Jotastar was a set of child-sized toys produced, under licence from Palitoy, by Jotastar.
Jotastar were a toy company who made produced toys & licensed items. Among their other licensed products were at least two Transformers Sliding Puzzles, a M.A.S.K. Communicators Electronic Intercom Set, a Mr Men Little Miss China Tea Set & a set of Doctor Who Trumps Card Game.
PACKAGING The packaging of the Field Unit Inter-Com does not show any of Palitoy’s Action Force toys the only Action Force markings on the toys were a sticker on each of the Telephones.
These sets may have been made for Jotastar by other companies who then packaged them, eg the packaging says “Made In Yugoslavia†& the telephones themselves have both the name “Durham Industries Inc†& “Mehanotehnika†on them.
INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions which came with the loose set I have are © Cowan de Groot Limited 1982. (shown below Front, Inside & Back) CONTENTS
The Field Unit Inter-Com #1 set included two working Telephones with a 30 Foot Extension Cord (approximately 9.25 metres). Each Telephone consisted of a telephone base (cradle) & a telephone receiver (handset) connected by a lead. The telephone base had a “digital keypad†& when a button on the keypad was pressed a red light flashed & a buzzer sounded on each telephone base. The telephones worked allowing two people to talk back & forward using them.
