Officially some of the worst pieces to attatch to a vehicle, the Skystriker fins !!
Ace and his buddies are having a briefing while the Aircraft are being fuelled and re-armed
2 of the Squadron are in the workshop at the moment waiting for new parts
I think someone was a bit over zealous with the sticker sheet here!

Andy's cracking collection of skystrikers have got me thinking about the gi joe FLAG super-toy-thing!
I'm not a GI Joe fan, being British and brought up collecting Action Force [Ironblood-era] but I'm still curious to this amazing toy, so a few questions. I'm sure this has been discussed on here before my time, so appologies if their obvious.
1 - Does anyone here own one?
2 - If so, is it on display? I'm assuming that you need a fair sized room for it [6 ft by 3ft?]
3 - When did it come out and how much was it? Surely it must have cost a fortune, I can't see many 'normal' families buying their kids it as it was so expensive? So, then, why did the US makers release it if had such limited retail appeal. I remember thinking the z force command centre was a MASSIVE toy when I was a kid and thought not many kids would get one for christmas as it was so pricey [for the times] - although my parrents did get me one for Christmas, bless 'em...
4 - Are there any pics of it all set up with lots of Skystrikers on it - I'm thinking of some US GI JOE-superfan who probably has a wing of their mansion dedicated to the little plastic people...
There are a few in the galleries on Yo Joe.
I was talking to the toy dealer near me, and he can remember it being sold in John Menzies.
He wants one for a display in his shop, said his mate had one but would never sell it!!

My brother and I had the FLAGG when we were kids, then sold it, but then got it back from them (our neighbors) a couple of years ago. Now my brother has it displayed in his hobby room at his house.
