B & W Volume ? I need 2 hear from the members here on this

One of our members suggested that we should create a Black and White ( NON COLORED ) book of some of these Action Force Stories for people and release them in between the releases of the colored issues so that we have something going on for people in between releases of the colored editions
What I need to know is : if anyone else would be interested in a softcover version of these Black and white ONLY stories ?
I would choose stories that we dont currently have on the coloring "TO DO LIST" at the moment so that if we ever did do these stories it would be a long long time later. ( if ever)
So If I can get at least 5 people that would be interested in it I think I would do it.
if your interested in something like this post !
Hope to hear from you all on this

It sounds an interesting idea. Both Marvel and DC have done a sterling job on their collected editions. Rebellion (2000AD) has done an overall good job, but have let themselves down with books like Strontium Dog volume one that has very badly reproduced colour to B&W pages. Some of their B&W repros leave a lot to be desired as well. I would advise trying to get some samples of the printers B&W work before committing.

I'm actually undecided - it would be great to have as a hardback, no doubt about it, but this is really the BFTB Colouring Project! Part of me worries about overstepping our bounds with copyright, the coloured book is fine as the pages have been altered. Let's face it, anybody can download the Claymore .cbr and send the pages to Lulu.com themselves!
Maybe we should have a poll?
My other reservation is that we may well end up colouring those comics further down the road, and then people would be buying duplicates.
But I'm easy really. My suggestion for the title is "Black & White & Red All Over"

...Well it would certainly solve all the problems I'm having over on THIS thread...

By the way, I keep mentioning Sky Raider Strikes Back, but I think MANY of the Combat Files would make great little "bumpers" throughout these books, and would really showcase the early characters;

Yep, if a Space Force story were printed in Black & White AND Colour... I'd save up and buy both!

Sorry to bring up an old thread, I just wondered if anyone had anything else they'd like to add?

I must confess that, as good as the colouring jobs being done for these classic strips are, I would like to see 'original' versions.
