The plot similar VvsV with a few exceptions.
The beginning is very similiar to The VvsV movie but the backdrop is different take a look at London Bridge and BIG BEN

Image

Image

It all starts with Action Man and his buddies trying to capture a tiger...to give it a bath. Sir Arthur had borrowed the tiger to use it for their training.
Image

When he goes out to meet the van that will be taking the tiger back to the zoo, he is tazered and kidnapped by No Face who takes him to Dr. X in his new Antarctic base.

Image
Meanwhile, Action Man finds Sir Arthur's secret cell phone (not his paintball goggles) and finds a text message from ISD asking the Action force to go to the zoo. There, in a scene right out of Vvs.V, they find the video of the Unidentified Creepy Objects and rescue a bear.

Image

The tissue sample vial found in the bear enclosure is marked with Dr. X's logo. After all, every great villain puts his logo on things he uses for his SECRET plans. Figuring that it had to be Dr. X who kidnapped Sir Arthur, even though X is supposed to be dead, Action Man decides that his next course of action should be to break into ISD headquarters in London. Yeah. The good guy has to break into the good guy base. Go figure.
Image

Once he gets down to the boss of ISD we learn that he is not actually an ISD member and has no clearance but needed to talk to the top brass immediately and didn't have time to wait on hold.

Image

So, they go down to the briefing room where action man shows all the evidence, including the vial with the X logo, but they don't believe him anyway. After all, Dr. X is dead, and it will take more than a few...WAIT!

That's when the X Robots arrive!

Image

Action Man helps the blue Beach Heads fight off the robots; then, realilzing that they were just a diversion, he runs straight to Sir Arthur's office where he finds...Sir Arthur.
Image
Huh? Okay, so it's No Face dressed as Sir Arthur, and he's actually there stealing a code card for the entire world's sattelite control systems so Dr. X can shut off the world's sattelites and launch his toxic pods without being discovered. No idea why he needed the card though. After all, he has a big lazer in Antarctica that can blow sattelites out of the sky.Image
Speaking of Antartica, after a daring motorcycle chase and a game of chicken, No Face gets away. ISD then sends Action Force and Sir Arthur's daughter Rebel to chase him down to the South Pole.

Image
They head down there on snowmobiles and a snowboard with Action Man's parka being the only thing to protect them from the elements. There, they fight some Snow Wolves and more X Robots. Then, Red Wolf and Flynt create a distraction so Action Man and Rebel can get inside. Sound familiar? While inside, they are captured by Coil Crushers and watch helplessly as Sir Arthur is toxified with the DNA of all animals and X himself. This turns him into Tyrannotox who emerges from the Venom Chamber fully armored and beats the tar out of the two good guys who allow themselves to be captured so they can get more information on X's plan.
Image

But, they get ditched while they're locked up, and Dr. X blows up the whole facility. Luckily, Rebel is able to steall all the information from his computer before everything explodes. They make their escape with the help of some street luge sleds just sitting around and a ventilation shaft leading to a hangar where Dr. X carelessly left a Thunderwing Jet when he abandoned the site.

Back at ISD, they've already found an antidote without the information rebel gto on the South Pole and are about to find the new base without her help either. By locating the intersection of all the orbits of the first satellites to be shut down, the find Dr. X's new base, an island of the coast of Chile, that just happens to be shaped like a giant X. They head there and accompanied by a plane carrying the antitoxin and kick some butt. One funny thing is that Dr. X's Luanch pad is fully operational. They just don't dare to launch anything until all the sattelites are down because they don't want ISD to find them. Even when the Action Force is already there, they won't launch until that sattelite is down. They already found you and are de-toxifying your troopers. Of course, it takes more than that to save Sir Arthur.

Image

They shove him down onto the launcher to undo the electromagnetic induction done to him in antarctica, and he is saved. Then, ISD comes and arrests Dr. X, along with No Face and Gangrene. The world is safe once again.

I have had this movie on DVD for about 18 months. Picked it up very cheap from a supermarket. £1.99 I think

I also own Valor vs Venom. Of the two, I far prefer X-missions. It seems to have better production values, better scripting, far better dialogue and is much less cringeworthy. The best and most important thing about X-Missions for me: No Duke!

I hear ya, I have them both too and I got to say I enjoyed this one better as well.

The only thing is I wish they would have made Rebel, Natalie, it would have been a nice nod to the old series and would have been better than to have TWO red heads ( scarlett in VvsV and Rebel in ACTION MAN X-Missions ) . Would have been nice to see a yellow head scarlett

But Ya this one is definatly by far less cringeworthy

oh and I posted parts 2 and 3 above!

Splendid I shall watch that tomorrow.

I thought the models looked close to VvsV at first glance. I watched that on hasbro's site a while back and I enjoyed it. If only for Destro rocking a chunky rollneck sweater.
