Character Bio Poster

Hey Everyone
Firstly - what an amazing site! It's existence is a gift to mankind. Or to the 30-ish war-mongering nostalgic part of it anyway. Thanks to all involved for keeping AF alive.

Now to my first - probably of many - question. I have a memory burned into my brain of a poster that I had just above my bed as a kid. It had some of the different characters and a little piece of text about each. Whether the images were artwork or photos is shaky in my mind but my gut feeling is that it was dramatically drawn pictures of each team member. One in particular that has stuck with me is the piece on Quarrel. It described her as (paraphrasing) 'calm and collected but bursts into violent action at a moments notice'. Maybe that explains why I've always ended up with similar women in my life but my question is: does anyone here remember this? Or better yet, have a copy / scan of it?

Thanks in advance and keep up the good work Baron.

Oh yeah and just before I go may I just say AAAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

Ah, it'll be this one. It had character photos and artwork surrounding it.

It still crops up on ebay from time to time. I'll have a hunt and try to find out which issue it came with. I'm working my way through the old BAF issues as I have a new A3 scanner. There are some bad joins on that one so I'll be redoing it sometime soon. I'll keep you posted.

Welcome to the gang, sadakos_fury, nice to have you on board.

I'm a long way off from that one, can they do Death in South America instead? That's our only other Shadow/Cobra era crossover left to do.

Wow I remember that poster! I too had it on my wall as a kid *sigh* I had a thing for Quarrel as a kid too, I always imagined Glynis Barber of "Dempsey & Makepeace" playing Quarrel, she was something back then (not bad now too considering).

Baron and jamarmiller, on the subject of colouring the old BAF has Operation Claymore (SAS vs Red Shadows in Scotland) been coloured and/or planned to be coloured? That and the Atoll story were among my favourites.

It's not been done, but Jamar had a strict "Hands-off!" warning when this first started 'cos I want to do that one LOL. It's my favourite strip too.

One of these days anyway...
