2 new vintage customs

I've made two new customs:

1 - the shadows after clocking off from their shift

I'm really pleased with these for 2 reasons. The 'straight' right arm which is the original down to the elbow and then a muton part glued on to the hand. Looks SO much better than the bent arm me thinks...

Also, I love the helmets in their hand. Using a mate's Dremel tool I've drilled them out to make them semi-hollow. Took a while, but they rock I reckon!!!

2 - z force fellas

Not so pleased with these. I invested in some red paint [which was a big leap into the unknown for me!] and did the bobble hats after one of Jimbo's z-force customs which I saw before and really liked. To make the figure more different from the usual Sapper I thought I' give him new arms, and following the minesweeper went for a nice shade of red. Not so pleased with the results there, but it will have to do I guess...

Looks like a lot of work, how long did it take you to paint them?

Love the Shadows Paul :)
Great to give the troops a human touch with the heads, a sort of behind the scenes look.
Keeping up the good work by cutting up the Shadows. Our reign of terror on "i can`t believe you cut i`m up"
continues.

Thats not true enough!, I think these figures exact revenge by cunningly moving the sharp blade onto your
knuckles.
Have you tried hacking at a Star Wars figure? Seem to be made of cast iron,i had an hours fight with that
freakin Boba!

Veering back on topic, I think the Z Force guys would benefit from a red undershirt by the collar, make it look more like an overjacket - also the black hands aren't right, I'd suggest flesh or green.

Perhaps you should have used a flat red paint instead of the gloss on the Z Force guys?
