Blood for the Baron!

for some reason some of the posts i had are missing,such as skeletron thread and peaples responces to current ones,including the responces to my other posts recently,has there been somesort of error? when i got a email saying there had been a post to my thread,i clicked the link and nothing was there,anyone else have this prob?

Yes. Sorry it was me.

I was trying to fix the problem with new posts needing approval - I backed up the forum and dleted it. I reinstalled it and found that the backup would not load.

I've been working on it all day and have managed to salvage most of it, I had to use an old backup, I'm very sorry to say that everything from the past two weeks has been lost.

I feel awful about this.

It happens. Usually with an 'sh' in front of 'it'. I am sure we will soon catch back up to where we were.

I have been an admin on a couple of sites, and I know what kind of problems these boards can create, spammers being the least of the worries.

Good to know everything is back to normal. The one thing we could do with is you posting the link to the Zoids comics again, please? Thanks, Baron.

I think the biggest problem is the 6 new users we lost, there was some really active posters in that group

Maybe a mass e-mail to everyone? I know some of them were referred to by other members here so if they got a PM from them asking them to rejoin we could get them back??
