One of our fellow collectors, Stefan Brown has had a fatal break-in and the bastards took the majority of his collection of Gi Joes. Please keep a look out for stuff suddenly becoming available in large amounts, either online or via word of mouth.

This is really sad. I'll keep an eye out.

That is sad, I saw this on FB as well. Where (country, rough area etc given the situation) is Stefan based?

The FB location says "Buxted, England" so I would assume somewhere in that area?

I've asked him to comment on my wall so I can share on BFTB but no reply.

Thanks, think when I saw it on FB I couldn't see a location as it was a share. Ill definitely be keeping my eye out but also increase my warniess level when posting / talking about my collection.

Hi all, it's been a while

I spoke to Stef last week, sounds to me like it's someone that knew him! We both agreed that whoever it is may start to either list it on eBay or try to go through the forums to sell this all on. The fact that there was watches and computers stolen too means it wasn't a crazed toy collector. I hope that the Police help him out and take any information seriously.

I'm sure it was someone who knew the house. I've shared everything on BFTB facebook which has generated a few more shares. Here's hoping we can catch the scumbag.
