Blood for the Baron!

I know it's been a while since I posted, but I thought you all should know...

...after 30+ years...

...BARON IRONBLOOD has returned, in Revolutionaries #2!!! He is co-leading the Red Shadows with Dr. X II (who is a woman, as you may know). The Red Shadows are now the Red Ninjas of the Arashikage (they've been amalagamated together), so the "Red Shadows" actually made their first appearance (in this "new universe") in G.I. JOE: Season 5 #1, which came out 2 months ago. Anyway, the BARON's updated outfit is pretty rad and he has glowing red eyes! Pretty mysterious... I really wish I had a scanner and could show you all!

Slight correction: the Red Shadows / Red Ninjas technically made their first appearance in Action Man #4. (I just reread it.) Personally, I would have liked them to be more distinctive in appearance as relating to their former incarnations in BAF, just as the Baron is easily recognizable despite his upgraded look, but who knows what the future holds? I'm optimistic. We have a lot of "firsts" here: Action Man is dead, and we have a newer, younger Action Man. The same is true for both Doctor X and Storm Shadow, who have been replaced by women after their deaths! It's all pretty fun and I hope it continues for a long time...
