Eagle Force Returns

Hey guys,
I'm not sure if they were available in the UK or not but Eagle Force were something of a cousin to GI Joe & Action Force. They were small die-cast figures featuring the adventures of an elite military group brought together to topple a terrorist organization(R.I.O.T. - Roving International Organization of Tyranny) bent on world domination. Sound familiar? They were made by Mego and launched in 1982. They were considered a hit but Mego went under the same year, so only one wave exists.
There's a Kickstarter currently running trying to restart the Eagle Force brand in the currently popular 1:18 format figures. Fresh Monkey Fiction & Zica Toys have big, long term plans for the brand including more toys and video games. They've even hinted that 80s style animation might be in the works. I'm pretty stoked about this Kickstarter and thought some of the folks that hang out here might be too.
Here's a link to the Kickstarter - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/54 ... on-figures
Here's some in depth information about the original Eagle Force - http://www.megomuseum.com/misc/eagleforce.shtml
This is not lip service but I always enjoy stopping into Blood For the Baron. There's a lot of bitterness on most toy forums on the web but you guys just seem to love what you love and that's incredibly refreshing.
Hope you check out the kickstarter! If you pledge, let them know that C Kevin sent you!
