Storm Force
I was wondering about Storm Force was it finished in Battle and then repeated in Eagle as was Johnny Red and Charley's War? Or did Eagle just carry on where Battle left off?
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?

Both, actually! I've just been going through them. For the three weeks prior to the merger, Eagle reprinted the first Storm Force strip, then continued printing new material for another two and bit years (only 3 pages an issue though, all by Vanyo). Then about a year later they started printing reprints of the Battle Vanyo run. I'm considering rescanning the centre page spreads as they are B&W in the reprints. Once all the scans are done I'm hoping to put together some collected editons and maybe another colouring project...

Did Storm Force ever conclude?
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!
Re: Storm Force
I've not read the Eagle-era strips myself, so I don't know!

Not as such, no. Actually, they started experimenting with the line-up a bit more towards the end. Three of the main six characters were replaced with newbies - Unknown, Para and Kung Fu, two of which only appeared in one story. The penultimate story was a John Storm solo mission, and the final original story to be printed didn't include John Storm at all and instead featured Stiletto and Para on a hijacked passenger plane - bit like the movie Air Force One, but obviously better

Jump on board now! Vanyo's art is as wonderful as ever, John Cooper's grit is every bit as awesome.
