Same, was watching, tempted to bid.. Then it went into stratosphere! Loved this line but isn't my true focus.. Is it really that rare?

They would have had a very short run, Coosplay. In NZ we only had that card for a year and I'd bet less than that in the UK as it would have been the 1984 Palitoy bridge. I've never seen one on ebay and I'd bet most of us only focus on series 1 to 3, not so much Hasbro so we don't notice them. I'd bet they are rarer than Toltoys.
This was the Kiwi one, same art as the US, the UK one was unique. Toltoys was gone in 1985 and Hasbro completely took over in 1986, back home. I dated some of these for Jim and UK and NZ both had their releases a year after the US. The enemy wouldn't have lasted long at all.

Rarer than a Tolstoys, wow! No I've not seen the Hasbro Cobra come up for sale before, still for me this is surprising as other figures from this range like Lady J, Flint, Eels, Ripper etc do pop up from time to time and not at unattainable prices, I have some, even Snake Eyes which I never did find in the toy shops back in the day appears on eBay a few times a year.. I'd have thought a Hasbro Cobra would have been produced in greater numbers, plus I was of the belief that the Hasbro line with the addition of the Marvel comics (ad/marketing) was far more popular in the UK than the first 3 Palitoy series... Perhaps it's rarity is down to tighter production and greater demand than short release..?

Not sure how popular they were in the UK. The Enemy was produced in the US in 83, Lady J etc was 85. The Hasbro Snake Eyes was V2, 1985. So it was an odd cardback for that era to come out that late. That's why I suspect they weren't so common as I reckon they would have disappeared by 1985 as the did in NZ. The only other 83/84 figures to come out as Hasbro AF were vehicle drivers.
This is all just theory though.
