Hi guys and sorry I don't get the chance to get on here much these days! One day, I'll be back!

Anyway, an event some of you may be interested in attending:

On Saturday, 4 July at 2pm, the Century Theatre at Snibston Discovery Museum (situated in Coalville, Leicestershire - the home of Palitoy), is holding a showing of The Story Of Action Man film, by Tony Roberts. The screening will be in the main auditorium using the Theatre's cinema screen, so if you own the film already, this is a chance to immerse yourself in it on the big screen. Bob Brechin will be attending and may give a brief introduction.

The aim is to try and bring ex-Palitoy workers and Action Man collectors and fans together in celebration of this amazing toy line, which Palitoy really made their own.

Tickets are £3 (access to the showing only - museum entry is extra) and you can book on-line (for both the show and museum admission).

Here's a link http://www.centurytheatre.co.uk/diary/s ... action-man

Hope some of you can attend.
