Re: Star Wars Episode 7 Trailer!!
They'll probably just do like they did with Christopher Lee & C.G.I. Harrison's head onto a stunt doubles body.
I've yet to see watch the trailer, as, I'm actively trying to avoid any news or hype about the movie. I'd just like go in watch & judge it on it's own merits.
If they're not careful the marketing people will overhype this movie so much that everyone will be fed up with it before it even gets released or, just as with Episode One, fan expectation will build up onto a level that the movie just cannot attain & end up being disappointed.

I thought they re-jigged the shooting schedule so they could shoot his scenes after he'd healed?Red Laser wrote:Can't wait the only downside is Harrison Ford won't really be seen from the waist down in most of his scenes due to his accident and I for one was really looking forward to seeing Han back in action again.

It sure is!! Braw!Chopper wrote:That's better.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Gotta say that Guardians Of The Galaxy has been the best Sci-fi movie I've seen in many a year.
Much more enjoyable than the Star Wars prequels.. episode 7 will have to be damn good to be beat it.

Last night on Facebook I was bombarded with "Plot Spoiler" posts,

If you like ruining the whole thing than give it a read (I did).

I fully agree on that! I went to see it without ANY expectations, but I had a blast watching it.Thundershot wrote:Gotta say that Guardians Of The Galaxy has been the best Sci-fi movie I've seen in many a year.

Re: Star Wars Episode 7 Trailer!!
Yeah same here, no expectations @ all & was hooked within the first few seconds.
If I'd of read online gossip or known any details, before viewing, I think I'd probably been let down.
I guess, for me, the more I know & see about a movie (before viewing) the higher my expectations are & the larger my disappointment is when they're not met. With episode one I'd purchased all the magazines, seen all these wonderful design concepts & the odd production still. My imagination was working overtime imagining how it'd all pan out.
Take, for example, the preview figures Kenner produced. We were given Samuel L Jackson as a kick ass looking Jedi & that speeder bike thing piloted by a battle Droid. Now in my head, given 20+ years of special effects technology advances, I was envisioning the Endor speeder bike action scene multiplied a 100 fold.... Obi Wan Kenobi & Mace Windu, lightsabers in hand, duelling robots mounted upon super fast jet bikes, careening through swamps @ neck breaking speeds locked in a life or death battle. I was simply just setting myself up for a massive disappointment
