Custom/Replica Carded Figures

I've seen a lot of custom carded figures (that never existed) on ebay, and now they are selling figures that did exist on cards, like this one:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Action-Force- ... 2c8b42babd
So, my question is, has anyone bought these and is there anyway to tell them apart from originals?
Sorry if this has been discussed already!
Cheers

Without buying one and having it in hand it would be hard to tell. I suppose it all depends on if they are printed on the same type of card and with the same quality inks. If so the only remaining tell tale sign would be the glue and seal on the bubble.

This re-card business has always concerned me, O.K. so, whoever buys this knows it's a custom.. but how long ,down the line, until it gets passed on to somebody who doesn't?

Aren't these made by a banned member?
Fernando or something??
I checked some of these out a while ago and noticed some spelling mistakes. Think it was a snowjob card

These are made by Andy Khaliq, who I think was banned. Andy is a Hasbro Action Force nut and has an extensive collection. I think some of his MOC customs of unreleased figures are quite cool but overpriced. I don't see the point in creating MOC customs of released figures though and I like Eddie says they could cause all kinds of problems on the secondary market.

I guess it depends if they are marked appropriately or not. There is subject of great debate in the Star Wars fraternity on the subject. All the cards I have restored can be easily identified. Its like Fender Partscasters, if its obvious its not the real deal and no one is being deceived, its not a huge issue. If its an attempt at counterfeit, that's different.

I have seen US Joe custom cards which have it clearly stated on the back that they are replica´s, maybe he (Andy K) should have done the same to avoid any kind of confusion.

Bit like the 40th Action-man I suppose, where they're deliberate spelling mistakes incorporated in the packaging to distinguish it from the genuine article.
