Hi! Star Wars Collector Looking to Branch Out...

Evening all,
My name's Andy and I'm contemplating collecting AF. I've got a decent vintage Star Wars collection (which I retrieved from my parent's loft), which is still growing slowly. I started collecting again recently after moving house and finally having room for my stuff. I'm trying to get as many Palitoy A Mocs as possible- not an easy task!
The other (much smaller) collection I also discovered at my parents' house was my AF figures. I really loved AF back in the day, particularly the first and second wave. I've got approx 15 figures and one vehicle. Most are complete.
I'm thinking of primarily going for the first wave mocs. Any advice? They seem a little thin on the ground
I'm looking forward to exploring this site and greening as much info as possible!

Hello and welcome.
Series 1 MOC are as you rightly point out few and far between, some come up fairly frequently but others such as the Aussie Jungle Fighter are rarer than an Aberdonian buying a round!

G'day mate, there are a few MOC collectors around here, but yeah, series 1 is not the easiest to find. Most of the ones I see on evilbay seem to be in pretty poor condition compared to their series 2 brethren.
I've nearly complete AF 1-3 and have moved on to Star Wars.

I've just been going through the 79 back list and adding to whats left of my original guys. I gave a heap away when I was a kid.
I have added a few modern vehicles too. The Falcon, X-wing, AT-AT, Snow Speeder and Dewback. My Son also has quite a few modern figures, but he's a clone wars kid. Mostly I'm just buying back what I had, first 20 is nearly complete.
How about you?

Chopper, got every figure, either MOC or loose, apart from a Vinyl caped Jawa. Will be a while before I get my hands on one of those! I'm trying to get as many Palitoy A cards as possible, which is proving to be quite a task and very expensive! Also have a few boxed ships etc. Here's my gallery thread on SWFUK

Thundershot, what SW stuff have you got? Any specific AF focus?
Baron- hi!
Well guys, I've dipped my toe- I'm now the proud owner of a Muton MOC! Not mint by any means, but pretty decent for £3.99
