Blood for the Baron!

I am currently working on an aircraft custom using some pieces grafted together and was wondering if everyone could let me know how important is retractable landing gear? As this is a custom for display I'm feeling it may not be that important but if it means its more appealing to a potential buyer I'll do it. Thanks in advance

I always like the option and if im customising try and make sure it still moves / works but i think for me anyway the most important is that if its fixed in one position its down for easy display. Exactly the opposite of when i was a kid though...

I would say the opposite - more play value in a flight-mode aircraft. If retractable is not an option, what about removable wheels?

I agree with Krackers. I try and make customs as playable as possible. Doesn't always work though.

Looks like I'm going for the retractable then. Going to be alot more work but should be worth it. Thats the trouble with my customs at the mo. I have alot on the go but some are complex need ing alot of time and I'm struggling sourcing some parts. Hope to be on course soon. I've got some great ideas that I think everyone should enjoy. I may even keep hold of some and try and make Roll Call (think its in October?) so I can display and sell for my beer money
