Blood for the Baron!

I've just won an A-Team jet on ebay in ok condition but missing the canopy. I had one of these when I was a child and am gutted I did'nt look after it. Sadly due to being a little flimsy I think it ended up in the bin. I'll be chuffed to get my hands on this one but then the quest will begin to find a canopy!
The next question will be restore or customize? If I'm customizing I may try to fit a joe canopy.

Nice find! I remember seeing one in the window of a local sweet shop back in the day and really wanted it, never got it but it was definitely a cool piece.

Well its arrived and the memories flooded back. So its missing the canopy and two horizontal stabilizers also no missiles or bombs but I knew all this when I bidded on it. I have a couple of bombs from my original but as I think tracking down parts is going to be nye impossible it looks like the customization idea will go ahead. I'm hoping a joe canopy will fit and maybe see if Ghoststriker horizontal stabilizers will work. Thinking maybe or ?

I'd say The colour scheme is already in place. Plus the don't have any aircraft other than the Roboskull, so it evens up the odds a bit!

Here's some pics. I think you're right Black Major although I do have an spaceship awaiting construction. Well chuffed as I found a canopy that fits in my spares pile. I have no idea what its from or where I got it but its close enough to work! I'm also thinking of using Conquest X-30 vertical stabilizers (tail fins) for the missing horizontal ones (should be behind each wing) on this. They have that longer bit that fits into the groove but I think that as none of the Joe jets are exact replicas of the military jets they are based on a variation maybe more authentic to a toy. Need to source some now.
