Blood for the Baron!

I've just come out of hospital from having my tonsils out. The recovery is nothing short of absolute agony

I thought breaking my wrist whilst playing rugby once was painful. No sir. At least then I could breath and swallow f*cking water...!!!!

If any of you are thinking of having it done and are approaching 40, like me, watch out!! It's a doozy..! There's a reason they whip them out when you are a kid. You can bounce back easier!

Anyway, reason I mention it is the solitude (and the fact the missus and kids have gone away and taken the iPad, so I can get some peace and quiet) has forced me to look at games for my android phone. I've become addicted to Star Command!! It's ace!!

I had them out when I was a kid and they did the adenoids at the same time it was near bonfire night as I had to watch through the bedroom window so I didn't miss the bommy.
Seems like most of my childhood was spent in and out of hossy as I had convulsions when I was 2 had to have lumbar punch for it when I was 4 and was then on tablets until I was 10 luckily I didn't have them after the lumbar punch otherwise I would not have been allowed to join up.

Get well soon. I can imagine it's painful. I remember a bad case of tonsilitis in my mid-twenties - the only time I've been signed off work! Chicken soup was a good one.

If you want it doing Baron. I'm sure if you wanted to, they'd even pierce your helmet!
