I'm going to start off by saying that I never met Shane but I started a thread before Christmas about the guy passing away late last year. His son was selling a fair bit of stuff throughout the 2nd half of the year, it started off as funding treatment but turned into his funeral fund. I bought on and out of eBay a stack of nice stuff, I was actually working a deal for his Defiant when he told me that he'd decided to get the lot to Vectis as there was SO much stuff. Looking at the auction I can see why! I've been told by several people that Shane had probably the largest UK collection and had attended every Joe con up to a year or 2 ago (he had the Night force night boomer from last year).

It sounds like some may eventually filter back through to eBay UK, it'd be great to do some bidding as his son told me that the guy literally had "The lot".

I just realized that a load of auctions have already happened, sh*t! defiant went for £100!!!! I'm gutted as I'd asked for several of those items and he couldn't find them!

Looks like there's plenty of carded and boxed action force too.

Sounds like he was quite the collector. Sorry to hear that he died.

I discovered these Vectis auctions after the first round ended a few days ago. It was an article about a Palitoy FX-7 record selling auction that pointed me to Vectis for the first time.

I don't know a lot about them other than they've had several Star Wars items fetch big money, I think they were the ones that sold the "Dubious" carded palitoy vinyl caped Jawa?

Do you have a link to the thread you started about Shane Watson before Christmas? I can't find any mention of him.

That's a wild collection. Sorry I missed the first round. Can bids be placed online with Vectis or only inperson?

Here you go, not really much of a thread, I think the guy kept to himself although I heard about him through several UK old skool toy dealers,
