with all the coloring work and other kind of work we have been doing , it would be a well deserved move but I think a largely unpopular one. It would be nice if the 400 people or more a week that is reading the recolored versions would do that as it would help fund more of the stories being colored and what not, but ya unfortunetely people wont even say thank you to the colorist let alone pay a penny for anything to help with stuff
I don't know how it would work charging - I know that's usually a brick wall for me when I'm perusing the internet. So I wouldn't have ended up joining if it was gonna cost me money - if the bulk of the content was free and some sort of fee was asked for downloads - that might work, I'd have paid for access to have a copy of the cbr files. I've no idea how that would work with the copyright issues, web design, etc.
Another thought is how reliable are the web stats? These pages have been up for some time, how many hits per day/month and are they unique - I access this site from at least three places (home, work and uni)!
Yeah, I had a similar thought for the downloads, not sure how to make some sections payable though, I wouldn't want the forum to get caught up in it. The hit points are individual since the inception.
I dont know if that counter includes the message board or not ( probally does right?? )
but counting up all the views on the colored stories we have done in the last 20 weeks all combined got about 15,000 views, so it may be at least half of that 25,000 number of views for the site come from the new coloring project and that only started about 5-6 months ago now, so a large portion of that number is new !
so that means the site ( on a whole ) has probally at least double that amount! and that is all good news really, (of course it be really cool to see the actual numbers )
