They misspelled SKAR though ( they spelled it as sCar )
Id rather have the characters and such brought in as REAL members of the whole conflict , but this still is pretty cool cameos/tips of the hat to them . pretty cool origin of Covergirl ( I am assuming this is a origin issue for her ? )
G.I. Joe #6 just came out this month. I've already said "spoilers" above, so don't read any more if you don't want to know more...

The man wearing the AT shirt is actually Bulletman! How cool is that!?! This is the 1st time he's appeared in comics (outside of ads in the '70s). Lovin' it!
Also, Duke had a Muslim wife! She was an Army translator who was actually with him when his ATV got hit in Trucial Abysmia and she suffered massive brain damage. Duke joined the Joe team right after. She is now in an expensive care facility in the States, but she is pretty much catatonic. This has Cover Girl upset, because Duke kept it secret from everyone including her (she's his current girl friend) and Roadblock (his best friend).
Lt. Stone is an actor, not a future soldier for the G.I. Joe Extreme Team. He is also a real wiener who almost got Cover Girl killed in the past.
By the way, Jamar, the Iron Claw has just been introduced in the pages of the G.I. Joe Collector Club Magazine (July issue)! Hawk had his dossier in his hand. You just knew he had to show up sooner or later, because the GIJCC made an action figure for him this year. I can't wait to see what he's like, now that he's back in comics.
No matter what people say, I think it's a good time to be a G.I. Joe / Action Force fan!
