Tres bien trouvé, magnifique! et quelle "robo-cul" enorme!
Wasn't there a UK version of the first one? Seem to remember it, especially the opening segment with the Jim-Watsonish artwork (with a rather splendid

)
Now to see the cartoon ad featuring

ATC and

Roboskull ...

What I really love about these adverts is the absence of special FX, CGI and other nonsense. Storyline, toy, child playing, that's the whole essence!

Hi all,
One of my Facebook 'liked' pages (Action force miro-meccano france) posted this this morning. I very quickly posted it here before setting off for work & couldn't give a better description.
Hi Quickie, yeah, the English version of this was shown by Mr Tree during his, superb, presentation @ Roll Call last year... I'd never seen it before then.
Does anybody understand French?
I've got a rough idea of what the announcers saying...but a good translation would be great.

Nice work Tshot, it made my day.
Only remember seeing it a couple of times, then standing by my VHS 2000 at action stations only to never see it again!
Interesting about Herr Tree. He has some related "real

porn*" on his facebook (*as they would say in the heimat, gonna update a related thread forthwith) that was probably part of his presentation too.
Translation: working on it now, won't be perfect.

redaction unofficiel commence pour monsieur Tshot, peut-etre un peu trop literale. Mais c'est necessaire pour rendre l'effet enormement profonde! Vraiement!
Messieurs! (Misters! / Men!)
The Baron wants to take over the world!

(

become leader of the world?)
The 'commando'

must get to its (action) stations!
Captain Pop (Buck

) commands the group

Captain Mac, the submarine flotilla
And Captain "Co", the

special force

But, ATTENTION! The

is
a very dangerous opponent! ( redoubtable! / formidable!)
The battles commence with zee Action Force toys!
Exeunt omnes .. *
* ... apart from

who somehow missed out what might be an
hommage to a certain Apple Mac ad from January 1984...

Thanks
I'm impressed with those Action Joe ads too, especially the life sized Power Hog.

What I heard, so not necessarily right
Men, the Baron wants to put the world to sleep! (vais dormir le monde)
The troops of Action Force are ready at their posts
Captain Poque who commands the group SAS
Captian Mac for the underwater group
Captain Ceau for the extraterrestial force (espatialle)
But beware, the Baron is a cunning opponent
The battle begins with the toys from Action Force!
