Yeah,I know, kinda 'sad' to admit to watching this sort of thing but I find it interesting to know how the real things ,that my toys are based upon, work.

Splendid! Somewhere in the void the thread on 'errors' got updated by Mv2 when he was Mv1, description of or summat, but I'd missed this.



PS. The level of Bl0pS where one goons around in the chem suit, whilst they call it the Enfield and it's based on the code for the LSW from MW2, what they were trying to get at was that it was the totally rad EM-2 that the OGA was using to take own those pesky Soviet freelancers.

What's important here .. which goes back to the source of a few Palitoy genius issues ... is that Herr Brechin and his genossen were also familiar with this stuff .. like Herr Tshot with youtube ...

f*ck, now I have to find all that Soviet landing craft stuff again, had a beaut pic uploaded but it must be gone now.

Someone fed Campion all that cutting edge Jane's Defense stuff, and it wasn't the IPC headshed.

Nice, the similarities to the SA80 series are remarkable. I liked the dudes RAF jumper too, I've got one just like it!

Someone @ Palitoy must of had access to this weapon @ some point in thier careers it's (the toy) a pretty accurate likeness of the real thing.

Palitoy weren't the only toy company to produce an EM-2 either...Herald/Britains had been making these guys decades before VAM & hit the toy stores:

Only had Britains' 2 Para and a few WW2 types, none of the intermittent "White Heat of Technology" era. Uncle Harold would have been proud.

The early Britains/Herald Khaki troops certainly date from the 50's & the poses seem inspired by these pictures: Later 'waves' in the range feature the more familiar S.L.R as carried by & :


Notice the telescopic sight on the rifle..the collar & tie a nice detail.
