Which Zartan BAF or GI Joe

You mean there's a genetic difference ?!

Er... against the current of ongoing debates I would have to say BAF Zartan because, thinking about it, the GIJOE Zartan didn't seem to spend as quite as much time underwater in the stories, too busy prancing around Springfield moaning about Hard and Soft Masters going to the Bronx!!

Though i liked the Kraken idea, it was way to SF for the Red Shadows in my opnion. It also reminded me of that film " the creature of the black lagune". Zartan has always been one of my favourite Cobra?s with his changing abilities.

But underwater I don?t think he can beat the "black lagune creature" ( Kraken). So this time I go for Kraken, one of the least attractive figures of the whole line

BTW Cobra has a nice awnser for the Kraken. A nice Hydro Viper will beat the Kraken anytime. ( just making fun )

As a kid I already believed Kraken made the Red Shadows one big joke. With his stupid cheesy smile and ridiculous trident and net he was JarJar Binks of the eighties.

To me he still belongs in a fairy tale. I have one in my collection, but solely because it was released, not because I like it.

So Zartan it is!

Sadly has to be Zartan as he would outwit the Kraken with ease.

And yes that irritating maniac grin was perforce annoying. Still, we lived in an age of and ... and select jointed figures with stiff upper lips and their aloof visages ... so all seemed possible if it was the diabolical Baron's will.

BAF reconciled itself to them. Some wacky genius in Palitoy-ville-Leicestershire came up with them out of nowhere. But I demand to know who and why!?!? And how were they meant to take on Q. From the Roboskull??

PS. Wouldn't the Krakens fit in with the Joe-Cobra machinations?? A Kraken is presumably far superior to a Dreadnok-Eel-Lamprey clone!!

Zartan , simply because he's a shape shifter,cunning and higher up the ranks ,
but a whole army of Kraken he'd be in trouble

Zartan for me. He can change colour and everything. he's a walking disco, I tell ya.

On reflection, might get the drop on one or two if he lucks out. But against , he's fugged.
