OK I have figured this out now !!!!!!!!!!

Here are the facts......

1 - Dave was in possesion of a Flash Backpack ( an item I was at the time looking for )
2 - lightning would look good with a cobra trooper rifle and an uzi ( according to Mister Tree)
3 - Boffin would also look good with an uzi ( again according to Mister Tree)

so by the simple process of deduction .......
