Toy couples
Re: Toy couples
well, my parents' health issues are a big part of why i haven't moved out, besides fiscal ones. my mum had epilepsy and then was suffering other seizures and we then found out it was a brain tumour. dad's diabetic, arthritic and fat and useless. so muggins here does much of the running around or helps mum doing stuff.

i'm not mocking anyone else who suffers those conditions. i'm mocking my overweight, lazy ass-bastard father who's arthritic and diabetic conditions largely stem from him being an overweight lazy ass-bastard and whose condition would improve if only he stopped being a lazy ass-bastard and lost some weight.

Thanks Iron',
luckly it was a very minor one, it's mainly effected his memory & speech, small things like remembering the correct words & names for things..the doctors say it normally takes around a year for the brain to make up for it.
He's lost a fair bit of wieght & isn't as strong as he once was physicaly before it happened, but all in all It could of been a hell of a lot worse..It seems to have been a warning from his body to tell him to take things a lot easier,.I hope I can stay as fit as he (was) when I'm 74!
Is your father still with us Iron?
Sorry to hear about your folks Sundance,it must be hard for you..I know if any thing like that happened to my mum I'd be devastated myself.
I think the reason I don't go out with women a lot is the fact I work with so many 'em all day..it sort of puts me off wanting to spend my social/free time in female company, yes I know a personal relationships nothing like a professinal workplace one, but as Alison says, she probably spends more hours a week with me @ work than with her husband @ home.
