Wow! That is the ultra rare Hyena variant with the different box! I'm sooo jealous of whoever blagged that bad boy for £110!

You wouldn't have his sons contact to share would you? I feel he should know that this company has lost him money today! And therefore he should seek compensation from them.
I haven't spoken to him since Feb/March time and tbh I think it was all too much for him. Originally he was selling to fund his dad's medical bills but in his words it became to fund his funeral. He was trying to sell stuff bit by bit on eBay and I was working on a deal for the Defiant when it went dead for a month or so, he got back to me to say he had so much (as we all now know) that he thought it best to let an auction house sort it out. I actually told him to contact Dave Tree and I can't comment on it as I don't know but I think he just wanted shot of it all! Very sad and frustrating for us collectors but I can understand the logic. I think it's best left alone now. Hopefully the lads got enough to move on in life now.

Looking through those lots it was very clear they didn't know what they had. There was boxes of prototypes and rare figures with an estimate of £30 - £50. Thankfully they sold for more than that but still should have realized much much more.

Vectis called me today and apologised if there was any error in contacting me for the live Auction, the lady I spoke with was adamant she tried to get through to me over and over and yet I have no missed calls to show but I accept this was the case as I felt she was being genuine, I put it down to a phone issue either side. The lady at Vectis also stated this was unusual and has never happened before.

Still gutted tho.

I'm unimpressed with Vectis before this as I left absentee bids on auctions previously only to find that on a load of them the final price was below my bid. No one had a clue as to why my bids weren't recognised/placed. Not a fan of Vectis to be honest.
