in Britain, (and America) if you still ive with your parents after the age of about 25 you're seen as being some kind of sad social leper and are a subject of ridicule.

DA if you havn't met the right girl yet & want to wait for that someone special it's a perfectly understandable situation to me & I'd like to think to others as well.

I'm in much the same situation as you Sundance on the "still living with my folks thing", I admit it can be a bit embarashing @ times, when people ask, especially @ my age (35)..but I've never had any incentives to move out, I'm an only child & get along well with my parents,O.K. we do have the rare argument but then show me a family who doesn't.Besides it's never really effected my social life @ all, untill now.

My father's recovering from a recent (very) mild stroke..so I've had be around the house a lot more than I'm used to, helping him & mum out,so even if I did have a place of my own, I'd probably of had to move back in anyway, we live in a small village & as mum can't drive it would be a lot harder for them, and I feel better being here in case of an emergency.

I hope your dad recovers Thundershot my dad didn't fully from his stroke I did say I was willing to move back home to help out but luckily it wasn't too much for my mum to cope with. They still have extra bannister railing and also in the shower too.
