would it not be listed in the device manager in the properties of the my computer bit?

have a look mate, right click my computer go to properties click hardware, click device manager, then i think its display adapters.

i'm on Vista. i don't have a 'my computer'

well i assume there must be the same thing but under a differen't name

well going into 'display properties' under personalization shows that the card is an ATI Radeon and it says the 'adapter type' is ASUS EAH3450

thing is, the bloke who got me the deal from Dell for this PC is the one who saw to buying and replacing the old Nvidia Geforce card i had and he just told me it was a better card and was £22.54. i only found out it was an ATI card by looking in the display properties section.
