Mindful of the views expressed in this thread, I think it might be useful for future reference to ask what amount people WOULD be willing to pay?

What amount would people feel to be a reasonable amount for a set like Jamar speaks of, or a single figure?

Thanks for that Sundance. What that tells me is that if others agree, it would mean that IF a set were to be produced, it would need to be just three or so figures, to keep the price down. This would make sense to me, as it is then up to the individual whether they buy a few packs to build an army or just the one pack.

That sort of price would also make a lot of sense for MOC and loose collectors, especially the single figure price, as if someone wanted one loose and one to keep MOC they could stretch to £30 or so for two, and rip one of the suckers open!

I think it should have to be a compatible price with stores like bigbadtoystore....I had a two sets of five action figures each for $100USD because I live in Brazil so it was about $25USD each set and a plus $50 for shipping....my collection starts again ...now I have 5 Joes and 5 Cobras and because of the price I didn't buy anymore.....where´s the crying face?...

I would say £20-30 for a set not including postage.

$250 is a hefty lump sum, i probably would though if i collected the newer stuff.

I think the Collectors club will do this eventually for a Joe Con and when they do it will be at least $250 dollars like every years box sets are, and when they do, it will be very interesting to me to see how many people from here will buy it .

One thing to keep in mind is that these knock off Cobra Troopers are sadly NOT GI Joe/Action Force quality. They're based on the straight arm Cobra mold, they're slightly smaller, and the fit and finish is sub par.

Now that doesn't mean they're not cool! I have quite a few of various colors. But don't expect Hasbro quality figures or you'll be sadly disappointed.

And no way would I pay $20 each for them. Sorry. Cool idea, impractical execution.

HOPEFULLY Master Collector will eventually figure out that there is a great pent up demand for Red Shadows and do a complete Convention set with 25th style figures. Honestly Action Force and other foreign figures are the direction all future convention figures should go instead of Crimson Vipers and other stupid crap.

we all need to let Master collector know our thoughts, if every from JUST this board alone would send them an e-mail requesting a Red shadow set and more Foreign guys, you would know for SURE they would do more. We just need to work together on this and help push this along!
