Wow! I just read the wikipedia article's overview and it is... alien invaders in the middle ages! kind of, at least. What a creative idea! specially for an old series...

The Tripods was one of my Favourite books and shows. I haven't read the prequel and will confess to being a bit cautious. I have the first DVD set and downloaded the second. I'll buy it for sure it, now its been released officially. The DVD's are season 1 and 2 which cover books 1 and 2. The third got axed before production.
Righto, off to ebay....
PS unfortunately Disney now have the rights and plan to make a movie that looks so far to be complete and utter bollocks. How unusual.
