Jen,

Its up to you but if you do get the Jawa graded then the price will skyrocket. It would also help if you had the orginal weapon. By grading AFA will also verify if the cape is real or not, and if it is fake they will refuse to grade it and send the figure back to you with an explanation why they have refused grading. If you are sure that it is authentic then there should not be a problem. The cost to grade a loose figure is $50 - $75 plus postage to the USA and back again. Alternatively there is UK graders which i think the prices are quite similar and of course the postage costs are low.

I have used AFA to get some modern figures graded and they are very efficient and helpful with any questions you may have. You may want to e-mail them at info@toygrader.com to discuss the options beforehand if easier.

Hope the other auctions are going well!

Good on you Jen - let market forces dictate price. I for one am already satisfied the item is genuine, as you clearly are, so may have a cheeky bid!

Best of luck with it.

Are you going to list him before the other auctions close, Jen? I would. Also, have you had any luck finding his missing accessories?

hello, my auction went well :-) all but 1 of the af figures went and most of starwars too! blades went up to 47 quid but didnt reach reserve so i did second chance offers to 2 highest bidders which were declined, strange.....? anyhoo i decided to relist him instead of giving him away! all in all im really pleased with the outcome so need to trawl through the next lot now! did wonder at first why i volunteered to do this but quite enjoying it now! the attached pic is of what i think looks like a very cold he-man, any ideas??

best wishes

When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?
