Great stuff! Please could you post the customs in their relevant forum sections? That way they're sure to make thier way into the site archives.

And it seems to be the version where the front gun is actually able to elevate...(silently crying because I really would have liked that Dragonfly version in its original state :-( )

All 3 of those custom helicopters are repaints from the 2000 Locust version of the dragonfly. I made the urban camo and black ones years ago using no primer and a spray enamel paint (without any kind of topcoat to seal it)....this was before I knew what I was doing. Much of the paint had started to chip off, but I was able to touch them up and refinish them. The other was painted an olive green color, somewhat similar to the original 1983 Dragonfly. Since I could not match the color exactly, and also since I already have an original, I decided to do something different and ended up with the red shadows death machine you see.

I have a bunch of my custom figures photographed and will make a thread in the customs section here very soon.

Okay, I actually thought that only the original one had the elevated gun and all subsequent models had the "fixed" gattlin?

Love them all. Especially the SAS one. Superb!!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Wowee, that SAS Chopper looks awesome. Will it fit a straight leg AF figure?

I am not sure if a straight legged AF figure would fit. I don't have any of them to try, but aren't they the same size as some of the vintage Star Wars figures? I think you may be able to fit one in the front seat, but I doubt in the back.

Also, I forgot to include pictures of this custom I just finished too. It's a repainted 2000 MOBAT made to look like the 1985 Black MOBAT that was exclusive to Consumers Distributing Stores in Canada. I've only see one of them for sale and it went for a hell of a lot of money, so I just made a custom of it instead. The original tank came with v1 Cobra Commander, so that's why he's pictured with it.

I also got in a few issues of Battle Action Force. I've never seen these in person before and they are very well drawn. The coloring project here is great and I may pick up a few more of the original issues in the future (but the postage is killer from the UK).

I also got a MISB Funskool Cobra CLAW that was in better shape than I expected.
