TKW, any thoughts about doing a transfer for eyeslits? If people are buying multiple heads then they really do need to look uniform, IMO.
Space Shadow has to be red, to leave him grey would look like he nicked the suit from Space Force!

Not sure about the bare-arms on the Minesweeper, the helmet is essentially battlegear and as such he looks a bit unprepared.
Was going to experiment with some eye slits as im getting some heads from Steve, will post pics when they are done and I can print some for anyone who needs them...
ya I could definately use some eye slits too, I got a ton of heads from before that I f*cked up on the eyeslits and red shadow logo. if you can do the eye slits I want to order those and some logos too!
Please let us know if you are able to do some eye slits
The eye slits are tricky because the surface they are on are a part of a cone shape (rather than a cylinder) and a transfer would be both difficult to make and difficult to apply. However, if you paint directly, use a single line for both eyes and after its done, then add the break in the middle, which will allow the edges to look squared off.

Sorry, to contradict you Malcolm

Its really not difficult for me to make them or personally to apply. Ive done them before but didnt keep any for reference as I wasnt keen on the alyosa repro heads I had at the time but Steves are much better.
It al depends on what your comfortable with I suppose as I wouldnt want to try painting one on but others may find the transfers fiddlier than painting.

what i have done in the past is paint a white strip then use a very fine back, pen nib and just draw he eye slits on.
worked for me.

How else would you describe it? I wish you'd said you were planning on making these.

Jamr, anyone else who might want some - finally got some eyeslits and helmet transfers done.
Pictures are below, excuse the body but just stuck it on whatever was at hand. These have been applied to the great
SteveDs custom RAH heads, havent painted this one up but to be honest would only need a light wash not a full coat, examples of real shadow heads are on my customs behind...
Not as good a quality on these examples as would normally be the case as I printed them at work but if you want some I can get some done at the printers as usual so should look even better, excuse the blur on the second pic... I should also be able to get the helmet logo a bit wider at the bottom to match the originals...
If anyone else is interested, let me know!

Absolutely perfect! Is it worth offering them for sale as a combined lot, do you think?
SteveD, I will hopefully be adding your section to the Storefront tomorrow.

Thats what I was thinking, just need to perfect the helmet logo to make it wider at the base which isnt a problem, my triangle is equilateral but I need isosceles!
