That's the one I thought you meant too, Andy. I'm damned sure I saw him for sale online. Went back and lo and behold he'd f*cked off. Sorry man. I'm positive it was he too.
I'm not a Variant freak, but I can see it happening unfortunately, especially when the latest raft of SAS guys get here. There is at least one variant of a figure I already have - Quickfire. I think Steve may be incurable, hope its not contagious.

Tell me about your muzzer. And while you are in this fragile state, allow me to pop your little bubble.
You will never own an all-black morris-dancer-variant carded Commando figure. Never! You hear me?
Because he is a variant Stakeout.
And no, that is the only ever boxed Boat Patrol anyone has ever seen. It was sold by Alfreedom in Spain for over £100!
When I clap my hands, you will wake up feeling peaceful and refreshed.

A truck load of Coors, from Texarkana to Atlanta? In time for Big and Little Enos's Party??? They said it couldn't be done!!!! What did they know???
I have faith in Palitoy's random approach to packaging throwing up a plain black Stakeout on an SAS Commando card at some stage for me though! I shall, I tell you. I shall.
If nothing else I'm a guy who enjoys the journey rather than the destination, so my clinging to the possibility these things exist means I can always be looking.
Same with an orange booted Never seen one. Don't know if one exists, but I heard a rumour years ago that there were some. Twas a tale told in a dark, smoke filled bar by a guy wearing a wide brimmed hat, who then sloped off into the night saying "you never saw me, I wasn't here".
So if anyone has MOC with orange boots - STOP HANGING ROUND IN SMOKE FILLED BARS ACTING SHADY!
Now I'm off to Boston to pick up some clam chowder....

Poor, deluded fool. The best thing we can do is make sure he's comfortable, unfortunately. Nature can be cruel.

We only want whats best for him, it's only a matter of time before he begins to smell slightly of a combination of wetwipes and urine, a man of his advanced illness needs to be cared for.

For the more obscure references from my deluded postings above, the answer lies in words of the late great Jerry Reed:-
And that's a big 10-4! I'm gone.........

Check out that old thread! Threads used to be concise, to the point, intelligent and well researched. And then a year ago tomorrow it all went wrong...
