Been thinking about this and wondered if Palitoy were going to use parts of these vehicles for new Z Force stuff and if the concept drawings were based on these rather than Hasbro using them to make new kit.

Hi Paul.. these vehicles came out around 1989ish, a long time after those Palitoy concept drawings were produced. Palitoy were so far ahead of the game with these it's unbelievable.

Also, it now seems the sketches are from 1983 not 1984, so even further ahead of the curve.

Whilst agree they were ahead of their time, wasn't sure if they would have got into Hasbro hands, or just a case of same consultants recycling ideas etc. a few years later. BUT - it would be very interesting to do this comparison with all the other vehicle sketches and later Hasbro kit, so you may well be onto something Herr Tshot.

Some chump 3D printed themselves a tat the other day.

This is illuminating in so far as it emphasises that the revolution will be 3D printed.

It's like proto-industrialisation meets meta. So f*cking mainstream!
